MANDÀRA
Mandàra’s musical journey began in summer 2015, when the musicians Andreas Koller, Hauke I. Marquard and Pia Greenaway started to regularly meet in Augsburg’s beautiful „Dompark“ for jamsessions. The reaction of the delighted people, who passed by these spontaneous and improvised tunes, was so intense, that Mandara decided, to organise their first official concert only weeks later.
They realized, that there was a kind of magic, that could be sensed, whenever they connected on a musical level. You can feel this magic on their concerts, weaving together their unique compositions and improvisations with flutes, strings, handpans and percussion. Or, you might even spot them, busking on a market square.
On top of that they have their own children’s program and they set up the music to a stage play of „The Little Prince“ (by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry).
